Simply click on the link above, select Land Rover World and then type a keyword such as "Defender", "110" or "Series
2" into the search box, you will then see a page that displays all
of the advertisments that contain your keyword. Or you can simply browse
through the adverts with the most recently added ones at the top
I want to advertise
my vehicle on LRW Trader, what options are available?
There is a single option available
at this time. Your ad will appear on the website imediately and
be displayed in print in the next available issue of the magazine.
How
do I place my advert online?
If this is the first advert you've placed you will have to register your
user name and password. This allows you to come back and amend your ad
if you wish to lower the price or change the details of your phone number
Click
on the link near the top of this
page that says Click
here to advertise your car Then
click on the tab that says"Place
Ad". This will open a new page
where you have the option to click
another tab called "Online Adverts" -
click this then the tab that says "place
advert".
You
now have to design your ad- don't worry,
the system will guide you every step of
the way.
Enter a title describing your car this will be the top line of your advert.
The next box needs to be filled with the category, you need to click the
blue link to the right of the box and select 'cars for sale' For a subcategory
click the second blue link and select one of the seven sub-categorys. You
should have filled the top three boxes by now.
The
next step is to write a description that
includes your phone number,
the price of the car and
any information that
you think people will find interesting
about your car. You can now add a picture
to your ad. Click on the browse for picture
button and select a jpeg of your car from
your computer. That's it!
Now
you are given the chance to review your
ad so you can see how it will appear
online and in the magazine. If you want
to change any details (like a mis-typed
phone number) you have the chance to
click edit text or edit image.
If
you are happy with the way the ad looks
click submit and you will be taken through to the secure server. Here you will be asked for your credit or debit card details and you will be charged £10. Your
ad will appear in the LRW classified section of the website
and in the next available issue of magazine.
When will my advert
appear on the site and magazines?
Online adverts
go up straight away, and in the next available
issue of Land Rover World, please note some
advertisments may also appear in our sister
title 4x4
Why
do i need to register to place an
advert?
So
that you can use your user name and password
to amend the advert or remove it when
you have sold the car
How do I attach a photo to my advert?
When
you are building your online ad you are given the opportunity to
copy a .jpeg from your computer onto the server. Simply click the "Browse
for picture" button on the ad set-up page
How can I amend the
details on my advert once it's live,
e.g. lower the price?
When
you registered to submit your ad you were
asked for a username and password if
you go to the site and click "online
advert" and then click "edit advert" you
will be given the choice to either edit text,
edit image, or delete your advert
How can I keep my
advert on the site for longer?
Your
advert will remain on the site for one year
or until it is sold. We won't remove the
advert, it is up to you to do so once it's
been sold
My vehicle is now
sold, how do I remove my ad from
the site?
When

will be given the choice to either edit text,
edit image, or delete your advert

offered, bought or exchanged through these
